Police are appealing for public assistance as inquiries continue into a serious crash at Baulkham Hills last month.
Just before 8.30am on Saturday, January 30, emergency services were called to Hills Road, after reports a Nissan Micra and a Kia Sportage had collided head-on.
The Nissan driver, a 31-year-old woman, was trapped in the vehicle before she was released and taken to Westmead Hospital with multiple fractures.
The Kia driver, a 36-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and was also taken to Westmead Hospital.
Officers from the Hills Police Area Command attended, with officers attached to the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit commencing an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
As inquiries continue, investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or the events leading up to it, to contact police.
In particular, they would like to speak with the driver of a small white vehicle seen in the area at the time, who they believe may have witnessed the crash or anyone who may have dash cam footage of the incident.
Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
