Police investigate sexual touching incidents at Sydney Olympic Park

Police are appealing for public assistance as investigations continue into a series of alleged sexual touching incidents.

Just after 5pm yesterday, officers were called to Bicentennial Park on Australia Avenue at Sydney Olympic Park following reports that a woman had been sexually touched.

Officers from Auburn Police Area Command were told a 27-year-old woman had been running on a walking track when an unknown man on a bicycle approached and sexually touched her before riding away.

A short time later, officers spoke with a 33-year-old woman who reported that a man on a bicycle had touched her near Mason Park in Homebush before fleeing.

Further inquiries allege a third woman, aged 32, was also sexually touched by a cyclist at Bicentennial Park about 2.45pm the same day.

Police conducted extensive patrols of the area but were unable to locate the man.

Detectives from Auburn Police Area Command now believe the three incidents are linked and are investigating. Multiple crime scenes were established, and inquiries remain ongoing.

Police are seeking public assistance to identify a man who may be able to assist with the investigation.

He is described as being of Asian appearance with black hair. He was last seen riding a black bicycle and wearing a black bike helmet
