Two women have been charged following an alleged assault at a Parramatta shopping centre yesterday earlier this week.
About 5.30pm on Monday, police responded to reports of a brawl at a shopping centre on Church Street.
Officers attached to Parramatta Police Transport Command were told a female allegedly attempted to steal an item from a store within the centre.
When two shopkeepers tried to intervene, a scuffle ensued, and they were allegedly assaulted before the two females left the scene.
One of the shopkeepers suffered minor injuries; however, did not require treatment.
A shocking brawl has erupted between two females and retail staff at a store in Westfield Parramatta.

A short time later, two females – aged 19 and 22 – returned to the store and were arrested by police.
The younger woman has been issued a court attendance notice for common assault and two counts of shoplifting.
The older woman has been issued a court attendance notice for common assault.
They are both due to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday 29 March 2023.
