The Lobbyist, Parramatta Square’s newest food and beverage offering, will officially open its doors on Wednesday, with 100 free coffees up for grabs.

Located inside the NAB building, the cafe offers fresh, nutritious food and specialty coffee and comes from the team behind LilyMu, NourRestaurant, Cuckoo Callay and Henrietta Charcoal Chicken.

Ibby Moubadder, Co-founder and executive director of The Lobbyist said he is excited to open another venue in Parramatta, following the great success of Lilymu.

“The Lobbyist is there to serve all of the businesses in the surrounding area, offering great coffee, delicious food and impeccable service,” he said.

“When you walk into The Lobbyist you feel as though you could be in London or New York and that is exactly what we were looking to achieve.”

The modern cafe menu is the work of Ollie Hughes, Head Chef at The Lobbyist.

Mr Hughes brings his British roots and global travel experiences into the culinary world with a particular love for Korean and southeast Asian flavours and challenges classic dishes with a focus on inventive twists that are both memorable and delicious.

Classic breakfast dishes have been given an upgrade. The mango lassi, chia and oat bircher muesli is a must try, served with coconut and kaffir lime sorbet, fresh fruit and a ginger, almond, buckwheat crumble.

If you have the time (allow 20 minutes) then the lemon and white chocolate hotcake served with honey and vanilla yoghurt, macadamias and fresh berries will satisfy the sweetest of tooths.

You can also get your avocado, egg and bacon fix with the well-rounded breakfast offering.

At lunch, a selection of gourmet sandwiches awaits. All are served on fluffy focaccia bread.

Try the roast pumpkin with basil pesto and grilled halloumi or the mortadella with smoked fior di latte and balsamic pickled onions. There are plenty of options to suit all dietaries.

A selection of healthy bowls are also available like the soba noodle salad with avocado, cucumber, cabbage, herbs, pickled carrots, broccolini, served with a roast sesame and soy dressing. You can add coconut and lemongrass poached chicken or smoked salmon for an extra protein boost.

The coffee served at The Lobbyist is from the esteemed Reformatory Lab, prepared by expert baristas.

A great selection of wines, beers and classic cocktails like the espresso martini and aperol spritz also feature on the menu.

To celebrate the opening of The Lobbyist, they are giving away 100 free coffees to the first guests through the doors.

In order to receive your free coffee, you simply need to sign up to the mailing list via the website and show the barista to claim your free coffee.

The Lobbyist will open from 7am on Wednesday, November 3.
